In the second quarter of 2025, the top maps and navigation applications in Costa Rica showed varied performance across downloads, revenue, and active users. Here's a closer look at the trends for each app based on Sensor Tower data.

Wikiloc - Trails of the World from Wikiloc Outdoor saw a consistent weekly revenue, peaking at around $497 in late June. Downloads fluctuated slightly, starting at about 360 in early April and ending at 273 by the end of the quarter. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, with numbers hovering around 1K throughout the period.

GPS Coordinates Locator Map by Firehawk experienced a notable increase in weekly revenue, reaching approximately $224 by the end of June. Downloads peaked at 1K in mid-April and saw a resurgence to 726 in late June. Active users followed a similar trend, with numbers increasing to 903 by the quarter's end.

Moovit: Your Transit Tracker from Moovit maintained a steady presence, with weekly downloads peaking at 3.1K in mid-April. Revenue showed some fluctuation, with a high of $490 mid-May. Despite some dips, weekly active users ended the quarter strong at over 44K.
